STOP THE PRESSES! Guns and Roses' comically-delayed Chinese Democracy, first tapped for release sometime during the Clinton administration, has, you guessed it, hit another snag. The culprit this time? It's nothing but a g thang:
via Blabbermouth: "According to The Pulse of Radio, recent reports have indicated that GUNS N' ROSES' long-awaited new album, "Chinese Democracy", is finished and the group's frontman W. Axl Rose is negotiating for more money with his record label before he will release the masters."
Axl, listen - we're still holding out hope that this disc might not be the disaster many might think. But to draw a parallel with another surprise comeback, asking for big bucks for Chinese Democracy is a little like Sly Stallone wanting a $100 mil for Rocky Balboa. You're lucky aging metal heads are an optimistic bunch. Just release the damn thing already.
