Green Day's not-so-secret side project, Foxboro Hot Tubs, is hitting the road for a handful of dates beginning next Monday. Now a physical release is expected May 20, after which we expect work will resume on Green Day's long-awaited follow up to American Idiot.

Gnarls Barkley's The Odd Couple, after months of blogger hype, sort of came and went. It's a shame really. Though it might not contain as many obvious singles as St. Elsewhere, the more introspective follow up shows off a soulful, often melancholy side of Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse that, while rooted in the 1960s, is as oddly contemporary as anything you're likely to hear this year.
"Going On" is another of the few party tunes on The Odd Couple, likely chosen in an attempt to boost so-so sales. The bait-and-switch might piss off a few teenagers looking for an album's worth of "Hey Ya!," but so be it - These guys deserve the spins.
