Nick Cave Channels Wayne Newton for Cover Art

The cover of the new Nick Cave LP is awfully Vegas, don't you think?  Just sayin', but we were definitely hoping for something a bit spookier or at least moustachier.  Call this one an early dark horse for Idolator's "Worst Album Cover" 2008 race.

In any event, we're still psyched for the tune, so check out Cave's recent interview with HARP for his thoughts on the new disc:

In Rainbows Gets Cover

Maybe the digital-only release for In Rainbows had a more practical motivation - Dudes couldn't think of a decent album cover.  Thom Yorke and co.'s latest LP will finally take physical form on January 1 via ATO, immediately taking the pole position in this year's "worst album cover of the year" race.
